    The ICT sector in Kosovo is one of the most developed and most promising sectors for generating economic growth. A considerable number of ICT companies are working for the international market. 91.18% of the IT companies operating from Kosovo export their services/products to international markets.
    The export of services has reached the value of approx. 2 billion Euros, in 2021. This panel, consisting of foreign and local entrepreneurs, will focus on the benefits, costs and quality of services that are being outsourced to Kosovo, and exported to the EU and US markets.

    The disruptions brought by the COVID-19 pandemic have made companies think about increasing the resilience of their production through supply diversification, shorter supply chains, geographically closer locations, more production at home, and increased inventories. Terms like ‘reshoring’, and ‘near-shoring’, are on the rise, in media and academia, reflecting the current trend among multinational companies, of reconsidering their supply chains.
    In this panel, it will be discussed about the successful companies that invested in Kosovo as an answer to supply bottlenecks and how these solutions can be further utilized.

Through the Stabilization and Association Agreement, Kosovo offers free access to the EU market, and with the available workforce and talent,
    engineering excellence as well as competitive operating costs the young country is becoming attractive for foreign investors. This panel will be discussing the opportunities and challenges of youth employment in Kosovo.

    How to invest in renewables in Kosovo: A step by step guide

     

    The Kosovar government is in the process of realigning its energy policy among others through Strategy on Energy 2022-2031, in view of the enormous potential for solar and wind power plants. Thus, Kosovo has focused on attracting investors in the renewable energy sector to invest in line with the new reforms that the Green Agenda brings to all Western Balkans countries. The panel will be discussing investment opportunities for the green future of Kosovo, and inform potential investors on the processes of how to invest in the energy sector in Kosovo.

    The Innovation and Training Park (ITP) Prizren is a German-Kosovar business park located in the Eastern suburb of the city of Prizren. The area of 40 hectares offers a networking atmosphere which builds on collaboration and shared resources. The buildings in the area include 23 accommodation houses, administrative buildings, maintenance buildings, workshop sheds, a sports facility, recreational facilities such as cafes and a modern canteen.

     

    The ITP Prizren intends to be a changing and boosting element in the area of ICT, agro-food and creatives industries, through the creation and management of a favourable environment and efficient services for SMEs, exploiting different kinds of innovations that can contribute to Kosovo to improve its level of development in industry and research, bringing benefits to the economy and society of the country as a whole.
